PMI Positive Metal Identification
Verichek Technical Services possesses the capability to perform Positive Metal Identification utilizing metal analyzing optical emission spectrometers, visual spark testing, chemical spot testing and eddy current testing. Our dectection limits permit the sorting of 304 and 304L grades.
Maintenance/Repair
The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of optical emission spectrometers recommend that our customers schedule Periodic Maintenance (PM) Calibration of their instrument to optimize its performance.
Periodic Maintenance/Calibration
The OEM recommends that a metal analyzing spectrometer with moderate usage have a PM/Calibration service every 6 months. Low usage, the recommendation is a minimum of once a year.
Our PM/Calibration service includes a complete instrument optic and spark stand check, cleaning of optics, lens and windows, UV checks and calibration adjustments. A calibration certificate will be provided with the completion of service along with a report and label of ISO/IEC 17025:2005 certification.
Spectro, WAS, RMG, ARL & Baird are some of the instruments we service.
Training
In-House scheduled training seminars are offered a few times a year and will be posted to our Web-site.
On-Site training is available upon request.
