Repair

Verichek Technical Services, Inc. provides emergency repair services to Oxford Instruments, Spectro, ARL, RMG, and Baird spectrometers. We have 11 Service Engineers with over 150 years combined experience, allowing us to provide timely service to our customers. We are able to address most problems using our extensive parts inventory; although we have a limited number of parts for ARL and Baird instruments. We also have an inventory of older spectrometers to supply used parts if they are not currently available on the market.

Periodic Maintenance/Calibration

The OEM recommends that a metal analyzing spectrometer with moderate to high usage have a Periodic Maintenance/Calibration service every 6 months. For spectrometers with lower usage, the recommendation is a minimum of once a year.
Frequency of Periodic Maintenance is based on many factors, including environmental conditions, how instrument is used, the age of the spectrometer, and what elements and ranges are measured.
Our Periodic Maintenance/Calibration service includes:

• Verifying the unit to peak efficiency
• Fiber optic checking and polishing
• Voltage checks to adjustments
• Supply of calibration report and stickers to ISO 17025 standard

Instrument Relocation

Verichek Technical Services Inc. offers services to assist you in the safe movement of your spectrometer. We will tear it down, prepare it for transport, supervise its move, reset the instrument, and verify operation at its final destination.

Instrument Upgrades

Verichek Technical Services Inc. offers various instrument upgrade services, including addition of bases and/or subprograms, expanded elemental ranges, vacuum system safety upgrades, and software and hardware upgrades.
