Verichek Technical Services, Inc. possesses the capability to perform both on-site and in-house Positive Metal Identification, utilizing metal analyzing optical emission spectrometers (i.e., Oxford Instruments Foundry Master, Test Master Pro, PMI Master Pro) or X-Ray Spectrometers (Oxford Instruments X-Met.) Verichek Technical Services, Inc. also has the capability to sort metals utilizing visual spark testing, chemical spot testing, and eddy current methods. Our detection limits permit the sorting of 304 and 304L grades.
Our PMI services are ISO 17025 accredited. We are able to have Field Analysts on site within hours, and we can service multiple sites, if necessary. We are able to offer UV element detection, such as Carbon, Phosphorus, and Sulfur, and we can sort on heats if determined feasible.
